When we think of the attributes of healthy relationships there are seven qualities that provide a strong foundation. Those qualities are love, acceptance, approval, appreciation, respect, value and trust. Many of us go seeking for these qualities and usually end up settling for less.

What most of us don’t know is that the most important relationship we have, first and foremost, is the relationship with our self. When we go within we get to be really honest and ask if we give these seven qualities to ourselves. Do we love ourselves, do we respect ourselves, and do we value ourselves?

With the Seven Gifts we explore the attributes of each of these fundamental qualities and how they affect our lives. We talk about what it means to have reciprocal relationships. We clarify the difference between extreme self-care and selfishness.

When we have a healthy and happy relationship with ourselves first, we have wonderful and reciprocal relationships with others.
